Account Statements

You will be able to review transactions, including images of the front and back of checks or other instruments drawn on your checking account daily through the Website. You should review your transaction history daily to protect your rights, including your right to dispute transactions that you believe are unauthorized. Daily transactions accumulate for a period of one month. You must review and verify your account transactions as if your transaction history shown on the website was a traditional periodic statement. Bank of Internet USA hereby disclaims any responsibility for items and/or transactions debited from your account unless you notify us within 60 days of its posting on the Website.

Check Safekeeping. Copies of your checks and other Items paid from your Deposit Account will be held by us instead of returned to you. An image of the front and back of the checks you write and are presented for payment will be deemed to be made available to you no later than the day after the items are presented to us for payment. We will keep the image copies of the front and back for seven (7) years. We will provide copies of Items upon written or e-mail request. We will assess a fee for providing such copies.

Bank's Duty Of Care. In accordance with reasonable banking standards, most checks and other Items presented to us for payment are processed through automated processing and, except in limited circumstances and subject to such reasonable sampling procedures as we establish at our discretion, most Items are not individually examined to verify your signature or that the Item is otherwise properly payable. You agree that we act within reasonable banking standards by processing most checks and other Items through automated processing systems.
