Bank of Internet is now offering High Interest Checking, a high-yield checking account that allows banking customers to influence their checking account interest rate and earn as much as a 3.40 percent interest rate on checking account balances.
The new High Interest checking account allows Bank of Internet customers to choose the checking account interest rate they receive each month by maintaining a few criteria within their account. The account pays higher interest than any other products in the market, including money market accounts and CDs.
High Interest Checking differs from other checking account products by offering customers dramatically higher interest rates when they meet specific requirements. If requirements are not met during any given month, the customer still receives the high interest rate but they are hit with a small fee. Bank of Internet's checking account is among the highest rates in the country, over 10 times the national average.
